• consistency etc
• pyramidal
• percuss over upper sternum
4. Lymph nodes
• supraclavicular
• submandibular
• postauricular
• suboccipital
• axillae
• groins
• spleen
5. Auscultate the thyroid
• distinguish from venous hum and conducted murmurs
6. Assess thyroid status (thyroid status exam)
