Write about ABG in Hypothermia here. Very complicated. Often poorly described. Essentially due to the biochemistry of it all, a normal pH of 7.37 at 37 degrees becomes 7.65 at 20 degrees. Therefore for the actual measurement correction (which is controversial) you should add 0.015 pH for every degree under 37.
760 mmHg = 101.325 kPa. |
